A funky mix of Scandinavian derived furniture complimented with work from 50 British artists, sculptors & craftspeople, hand made pieces from selected craft studios and quality gifts from British makers and designers.

Our ethos is to source wherever possible from individual artisans and small studios. Many are based here in the South West but we do travel further or buy from larger companies for the right piece.

We have over 30 years experience supplying beautiful objects for our customers and their homes.

Furniture Warranty

FIRST YEARS MANUFACTURER WARRENTY

All our furniture is coverd for just the first year under the manufacturers warranty but if you wish to extend this to a five years accidental damage and structure care plan please contact us for a quote.

Having invested in your new furniture it is only natural that you will want to keep it looking like new for as long as possible. This is why Little Blue Budgie in association with Staingard offer all customers their 5 Year Care Plan.

WHAT AM I COVERED FOR?

This Care Plan provides cover for a comprehensive range of household accidents that result in damage or staining to your furniture. Following the delivery of your furniture you will receive a document detailing this and also how to make a claim. It is important to recognise that you are not covered for a lack of care of your furniture or abuse, and multiple stains and damages sustained over an extended period of time are similarly not covered.


STRUCTURAL DEFECTS (after year one)

    Frame warpage and breakage
    Peeling of veneered or laminate finishes
    Lifting or peeling of the hide on leather furniture
    Broken zips, castors and buttons
    Bending and breakage of metal components

(Accidental damage means unintended and unexpected damage caused by a sudden and unforeseen event)

    Pet damage (limited to 3 claims per period of insurance) 

Significant Exclusions

    Commercial use
    Deliberate damage
    Abuse or neglect

    Natural characteristics of Leather
    Fading of fabric and materials
    Accumulated multiple stains

HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM?

All you need to do is call our dedicated claims and advice line on the number detailed on your policy document. A technician will be sent to your home at a mutually convenient time and we’ll take care of the problem, if we are unable to affect a satisfactory repair or stain removal we will replace the damaged item at no cost to you.

DURATION OF THE INSURANCE

Your Insurance will commence on the date of delivery of your furniture and will continue (subject to the terms and conditions) for a period of five years inclusive of the suppliers 12 month warranty period. Cover for structural defects is limited to 48 months and will commence 12 months after the date of delivery of the furniture.

Your furniture insurance has been arranged by Stainguard Warranty Group (A trading name of Homeserve Furniture Repairs Limited) and insured by UK General Insurance Limited on behalf of Ageas Insurance Limited. Homeserve Furniture Repairs Limited and UK General Insurance Limited are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Ageas Insurance Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority.
